So what’s the point of this thread?

DAL beats UAL on the revenue side of the equation, has a different contract and fleet mix so who’s apple are being compared with who’s oranges?

Not only is it a lower actual cost of labor, but it also ends up in a separate entry from labor (pilots, FAs, Mechs) on the financial report. Meanwhile, all the UA hubs and most of the large stations are staffed by mainline employees.

One can compare UAL to DAL, but it's not apples-to-apples without moving some items around on the spreadsheet. But yes, DAL is still lower.
So is a great deal of their long haul wide body flying.

We at Delta have some top end issues for sure but UAL has its own share of issues on the low end of scope.

It is apples to apples. We just slice em different. Two major US Flag carriers. There isn’t a better comparison.

I did not know the Delta gate agents weren’t Delta employees any more.

Whatever. If all you claim is true, it confirms in part why Delta chose Atlanta over Minny, and why their profit sharing is higher.

From what I can remember, our low end scope is almost identical to Delta's. Including the 50 seat language. Please let me know where I'm wrong.

This isn't true about gate agents. I don't have specific numbers, but the vast majority of gate agents and rampers I interact with are Delta employees.
