It's part of that HUD.

The Luftwaffe and kriegsmarine are dual qualified. If you drive a submarine you can fly the max.

ALPA gets to pick from Barney Purple, or Barney Frank Pernurple.

Gee...What a choice.

Lose if we pick Dinosour Barney purple

Lose if we pick Barney Frank pernurple.

Am I missing the upside?

I'm sure the company would love to not have us involved. The process would be faster and they could probably save millions of dollars! But I'm sure ALPA is actively working to make our uniforms worse! lol.

..Jean shorts.

The goofball pilot of today may also be wearing cargo shorts from the early 2000s, paired with some New Balance sex offender 7s.

How about being dressed like Air Marshalls getting on and off the airplane?
Once on the flight deck put on a White Shirt with wings on it so the passengers know who is driving the airplane when you come out to Pee.

Keep'em Flying

The wear test had many flaws. However, the younger generation of pilots want variety and style. Ultimately, they have to meet somewhere between the ‘New Balance/Hawaiian Shirt club’ and the ‘Trucker Hat/Tinder gang’.

I cannot fathom how someone thinks the company will make us a better fitting, higher quality uniform, that looks like we want it to, without our input. Have you seen our crew meals? These are the people who stole our pensions! yuck.

I’ll Bold you right back ;-). So ALPA was deeply involved and we get a circus suit. Did you think that outfit they were testing was higher quality and better fitting, can’t say I saw that represented in that costume.

Personally I am okay with lowest bidder aka M&H uniforms. Maybe it’s just me but I would rather have a bigger pay rate or PS check versus a Mercedes of uniforms. Which brings me to your meals complaint. Ask a DL guy what meals they get. You know that airline that gets those much larger PS checks than we do. The answer you get might surprise you.

As for our retirement I think the 16% B fund has put me in a better financial position for retirement than the previous A and B fund layout. Also didn’t we give our defined pensions away in a vote?

Just embroider some wings on that shirt and you’ve got an airline pilot every pax will have respect for.

Gotta keep this thread going...some serious entertainment value coming out of this one. The jorts pic was right on. :D:D
