I think their point was that you made an ignorant point, for someone with your background.

I know how it works. I was highlighting again the blatant divided loyalties of the companies we farm out flying to. Seeing it front and center on a badge just re-reminded me of a messed up system. Happy now?

But it’s comical that in this BUSINESS you think there’s some kind of “loyalty”

You wanna make a point or pitch a bytch, take it up with the guys that were ok with scope give on the mid term ESOP, C2000, and anything else that helped relax scope and has taken damn near 2 decades for trend reversal.

Why don't you back up your "scope give" comment with some facts.

Soooo, on the mid term ESOP when the 50 seat RJ's were allowed and further proliferation on C2000 never happened?

CAL agreeing on jet gage but NOTHING related to turbprop never happened? At least in that case, thank god the Q400 was such a POS.

275 RJ’s to COEX. We lead the industry until 9/11. Only reason CAL never got more was prob cause Larry K didn’t ask. Contract ‘02 must have been good enough at the time.

Based on some things I have heard from managers is that the regional tells them how many block hours and/or hub and spoke round trips they can satisfy, and the "host airline" as it was put makes the choice to cancel A, or C, and maybe keep D or B.

Good analogy...."host airline." Sorta like a tick latching on to it's host. Can't thrive and survive without latching on to and sucking the life out of the host.

Embrear told Larry inflight refueling capability was on it's way and it would be the replacement for all the DC-10's that they parked.
