Default Resume Review

Wanted to gauge opinions on the best resume review company for UAL? I’ve seen different things on different threads, but UAL is the career goal. Anything specific from your experience I should be asking these guys?

Many thanks!

Cage is a great place to get polished up if UAL is the goal.

Good luck!

Great service for resume review and application assistance. It’s run by Charlie Venema, who used to be the hiring manager for United. Clearly that gives him some insight into how your stuff should be presented in a marketable way. They don’t do interview prep, so Cage is good for that.

From what I’ve experienced in the past few years of interviewing and being hired at various places... it’s not the resume that gets the look... it’s the online app. Get that squared away and update weekly (tue/wed) and that seems to make the biggest impact. Within 2-3 months of taking this advisement seriously... I got the invites I was hoping for. And - I brought my lame ass resume to UAL/FDX and others.... (as they all asked for at least 3 copies - but really non of the interview folks really looked at it) they really had what they needed from you before you even showed up.

But hey, if it makes you feel more confident before showing up and you feel it’s worth it, then by all means - do it!

This is, however info that is a few years old...
