......and a pony.

As much as I’d love a contract, I don’t see the urgency for the company to sign anything. Why sign a cost increase when they can wait it out and see if a recession or other event changes the game? Without scope relief, there isn’t that much motivation for them to do anything other than play the negotiating game..........and scope relief isn’t an option.

Erm, 77+ seat flown by mainline. And I want to take back everything above 50 seats.

So still carrying the Bankruptcy/JCBA/Extension water for a 17% increase over 4 years? Will someone please remind me how much money the company is printing? How much of that is being sent out the door with a stock repurchase program? Gotta love silly season rumors.

Patience running thin.

They’ve been negotiating with our union in earnest for over a year, The ability to forecast our labor cost over the next several years allows them to do better long term planning, obtain better financing for new aircraft and debt refinancing. There’s a lot of benefits to labor stability.

Better take some Valium. There is ZERO reason for the company to want to pay us more. They are making tons of money with no end in sight. No more not raises for the pilots. So until something shifts into our favor this is as good as it gets.

Just curious, where do you get your info? “No more raises for the pilots”? Are you just trolling? Surely you can’t be this uninformed. Every raise we’ve ever had is because ALPA pushed the company beyond what they “wanted” to do. This time will be no different.

Amazing how some just accept the notion that this is as good as it gets.

Sooner or later that "golly gee wiz smile" will be wiped off the face of pilots. Especially when they realize how much they are losing since the due date of this contract.

If the union would consider changes to scope we’d have a contract tomorrow. You don’t want that so it’s going to take some time. It hasn’t been a year yet, if you’ve been at any airlines you’d realize this is pretty common time frame so chill bro... I’d bet you beers we’ll be voting on something early next year.
