Greetings all. As a SWA pilot I believe that I still can’t sit in your actual jumpseat on international flights in the event the cabin is completely full, however what about St. Thomas as it’s a U.S. Virgin Island? Does anyone know the answer to this definitively? Thanks.

I don’t believe you can. As far as I know there’s no international jumpseat on offline carriers (still). However STT is a part of the U.S. Virgin Islands and is an American territory. Thus the question...

I know for sure, as non United pilot, you can not jumpseat between Guam PGUM and Saipan PGSN or Guam PGUM and Hawai PHNL.
It’s all USA, one state, one territory, one commonwealth, but considered INTL as far as jumpseat.
Btw, captain can’t do anything about it, gate agents won’t even let you board unless they have a cabin seat available.
