Default EWR-STT Jumpseat?

Greetings all. As a SWA pilot I believe that I still can’t sit in your actual jumpseat on international flights in the event the cabin is completely full, however what about St. Thomas as it’s a U.S. Virgin Island? Does anyone know the answer to this definitively? Thanks.

Can I sit in your actual jumpseat on an international flight? To answer your question, yes I believe you can on that segment.

I don’t believe you can. As far as I know there’s no international jumpseat on offline carriers (still). However STT is a part of the U.S. Virgin Islands and is an American territory. Thus the question...

It depends. Are you going the same day as me?

Hahaha. Would it matter as you’d rightfully have priority over me?

No customs, no problem. Of course I can’t back this up with any literature, but I’ve done it many times to SJU on an offline carrier.

I know for sure, as non United pilot, you can not jumpseat between Guam PGUM and Saipan PGSN or Guam PGUM and Hawai PHNL.
It’s all USA, one state, one territory, one commonwealth, but considered INTL as far as jumpseat.

Btw, captain can’t do anything about it, gate agents won’t even let you board unless they have a cabin seat available.

Some of the flights (EWR 757) are augmented. But the captain can put you in the first class crew rest seat for takeoff and landing and then in the pit JS during the flight.

The 757’s that fly to STT all have two cockpit jump seats.
