Having trouble with listing for SW JS
I am. Getting message: General availability error. Failed to call 3rd party backend system.
Anyone else? Flights are full On UA for me, so it’s this or commuter clause today. SW has open seats for me too.

I just tried to sign up for the SWA jumpseat on EZCCS, and it will not work. I didn't get a message.
The screen either locks up with the "sunset" background from the website, or it goes blank.

What's interesting is that a UAL flight attendant can just show a crew badge and get on, but we have to be checked through CASS, so our FA can get on if there are seats in the back, but we can't.
We have a reciprocal jumpseat agreement with SW, but its much harder to get listed with all their tech issues, and they can just walk up to our flights and get on without a problem.

Buuuuuut, all the details/specifics/the how and the why aside, I’ve had their pilots take an FA seat so I could get the cockpit JS, so there’s that. And, as an OAL you can go down FIRST, get your bag taken care of and grab an aisle seat, if they need you in front they’ll simply pull you up. Whereas when I was offline, and what I watch now with OAL (especially on the 73), JS’er gets cleared next to last in the boarding process, one of the last down, sorry, overheads are full, gotta check your bag, etc.
As mentioned, NO, WE DONT have to go through the rampant thread drift of the how and the why they can and we we can’t, but I’m JUST SAYIN’.....

I’ve been told we cannot board first anymore on SWA.
Our pilots regularly go out of their way to make sure offline pilots get bags on. I put them in the cockpit (737) as my roll behind fits next to me where the ship set used to be. This online listing crap has to stop.

I did recently (as of last month) both directions.
When I was OAL (regional) on the 73, sorry, it was far from "regularly". Probably had to check it over half the time on a 73.
Now, I wouldn't go far as to say "regularly", I also wouldn't say "out of their way" either.
But good for you for doing such, need more.
