I also don’t eat airplane food that much these days, but I still keep the company accountable if my meal is missing, spoiled, incomplete. I don’t go looking for trouble in the galley carts, but if they haven’t supplied me a complainant meal, then I will expense a nice meal since they failed to uphold their end. Please consider doing the same.

Think the word autocorrect was looking for was compliant.

Its not at all, but give them an inch they’ll take a mile. One tiny error/waive rapidly snowballs into complete disregard for UPA provisions.

i know, why bother, it’s just your money. The UI on Concour is a pain, but now it takes me about a 2 minutes.

I expensed $72 on my last trip which is typical. that does add up to several thousand per year.

I’ll expense a stack of dry cleaning receipts, but that doesn’t amount to much money. $6 for a pair of pants 3 or 4 times a month doesn’t really turn into a very big deal. Other than my EKG, I don’t need to expense that much. Others may have a different situation. I’m sure that there are things that I could expense such as movies or internet, but I have never used either one and I don’t charge everything allowed just because I can. It’s just not worth the trouble to me.

It’s typical for you to expense $72 per trip? I’ve had no hesitation to expense meals when needed but it definitely doesn’t happen that often. What’s driving all of the expenses on every trip?

Kinda depends on the trips. My most regularly expensed item is a taxi. If I went to IAD every trip I’d probably expense one every trip since it’s not unusual to take In+30 to get to the curb and if no van it’s one motion to the taxi. Did one in MEX last week which was unusual since the guy usually meets us inside door 8. Next day he held out his two cell phones and said I should of called. I went to my recently dialed screen and dialed and his phone rang. Oops.

That’s one of the many benefits if WB flying. I can’t remember the last time that the van wasn’t waiting for us.

Limos are rarely not there, especially international. MEX was a one off. Hotel vans are often not there for obvious reasons. If it takes awhile to get to curb like IAD, off you go.

LOL, The Marriott van runs every 15 minutes, you really have to get a cab for that....
