WOW. The DOW only dropped 508 points on Oct 19, 1987.....BLACK MONDAY!!!!..... of course, 508 points was 22%. Today's drop was 4.4%. Hardly the apocalypse.

I've come to learn that the "experts" interviewed by the mainstream news are nothing more than talking heads meant to push an agenda and to make us fearful. I definitely see a short term economic impact from it but I don't see the end of the world scenario some people are preaching.

The difference now, which is causing fear is the interest rates, In ‘87 the 10 year Treasury was around 9%, today it’s less than 2%.
