I’ve spent YEARS with the friends of Bill, and their way of doing things basically changed my whole life trajectory. I still contend that their approach is pretty narrow and relies far too heavily on slogans. Not really into flow charts, either. The best “rewording” I can think of is that there is VERY little you can control as far as the events in your life, but you have almost COMPLETE control of how you respond to those events. That mindset is enough to keep me out of trouble.

I wouldn't hold out much hope for a vaccine. Coronaviruses were discovered in the 1960s and there hasn't been a successful vaccine for any of the strains.

Too much fear hype. Thus we are in for a ride. I am holding my breath for a vaccine to restore confidence and resolve for US.

All politics aside I hope we can manage manpower without the F word. No matter how we slice it 2020 going down as a profitability loser. It’s for sure gonna get worse before it gets better. Bummer.

It’s a bit more than that... Colds (not the flu) don’t have mortality rates as high as COVID-19.

Mortality data and longterm effects data seem to suggest otherwise.

So with what the data is suggesting, do you feel it’s serious enough to destroy global air travel and the world economy?

I’d imagine more people have died on the road to the airport so far this year than those that have died from Corona virus. Nobody seems to be too concerned about those deaths. But yeah, let’s all tighten our belts and prepare for massive losses this year because of a virus that is 80% of the time presenting mild cold/flu symptoms.

I’m saying I side with the actual experts over the wine-drunk propagandists and conspiracy theorists of your favorite media outlets.

Mortality rate is also subject to the limitations of the data. Many unreported cases, large rural populations with little reporting being done, and media hype are blowing this out of proportion. The mortality rate isn't to be trusted until much later in the process where they have real data from a bigger sample size.
