CORE 4. LEAP. Please, stay on topic. Your next contract depends on it. Because you can BET they are going to use this opportunity the THEIR advantage. And they will use your fear and supplicant emails as well. Checkers, Chess and all that. How many times must we go through this?

I don't mean to be a full-time dick, but "jezz" peeps....WTFU.

Sick time is sick time. But, this kind of issue should be OJI.
I asked my council officer that exact question 2 days ago, no answer yet. He said he’d bring it up on the MEC conf call.

MOU that came out last night takes care of all immediate concerns for pilot pay and sick leave.

I saw the MOU. It's a good start.

I wonder what happens to us if we get sick on a layover? Will the company try and get us home if international? Say, in S. America? Or, will we be stuck down in Lima, Rio, etc to just ride it out in our hotels? I'd like to have a degree of confidence as to what the company will or won't do for us if abroad and ill with suspected C 19?

Historically, they would get you home. Happened to me once with food poisoning. However it’s way more complicated now. Imagine you are in a South American country and get sick with a fever. Maybe Covid, maybe not. Test not available.Does the company allow a crew member on a plane load of pax...........?

Then there is an issue with local authorities. Got a fever? You may not make it through airport security?

Short answer, take a lot of cash with you on International trips and be prepared for a long stay. Don’t depart home if you feel the slightest bit ill.

Also download the International SOS app to your phone, login instructions in Flying Together.

Thor! You're such an angry man when you post! But, at least you're consistent.

In any case, sloooow doooown and work on your reading comprehension. You were an English major, right? That's very nice.
