Can I blame him for my kid ending up in the hospital for a week back in 2009 with H1N1 also?

You can blame who ever you want for this. However, the fact of the matter is, the economic impact is happening and its as real as it gets. You can keep on telling yourself "its just the flu" and it probably is for 90% of us. But that does nothing in regards to what we're seeing on a global economic level. The impact is happening. It's real. And its serious. I hope we all prepared accordingly. I know I did, and I'm still very concerned about my financial future.

What’s the total body count of Covid-19 now?
“Additionally, CDC estimated that 151,700-575,400 people worldwide died from (H1N1)pdm09 virus infection during the first year the virus circulated.** Globally, 80 percent of (H1N1)pdm09 virus-related deaths were estimated to have occurred in people younger than 65 years of age.”

Knock off the politics and stick to the reality of:
1. 50% capacity cut.
2. Likely load factors at 20-30% DESPITE the capacity cuts.
3. Obvious gestures by Management and Union to prep us for the worst.
4. Consideration of the effect if normal travel patterns by the public do not resume by Fall.
Keep the politics out of it.
