Thoughts?
I'd personally consider a downgrade a pay cut.

I guess it comes down to the language in the bill and whether it applies to the individual, or our CBA. I'm guessing we will not like the answer to that question. DAL crew resources has already stated there will be a displacement bid in the coming weeks, with training to start shortly thereafter.

Rumor is Delta isn’t going to accept the grant or the loan... they don’t like the terms. We will know more Friday... that’s the Treasury deadline to request the money.

I don't see how Delta will be able to stay out of bankruptcy without the loan. Maybe they have access to cash somewhere else. Still, doesn't seem like a smart call.

The loan is only delaying the bankruptcy process for the big three IMO

Depends on how quickly they can cut expenses.

Andy, I hope I am totally wrong on this. I have no confidence in the company "leadership" I didn't before this crisis and I certainly don't have any now. I have not liked the debt they took on and don't even have to mention the buyback So many just went along with everything because we were all pulling in the big checks and I understand that top a point. Now I still listen to so many that still have confidence in them Again I will be thrilled to eat my words down the road.

Bingo! Bankruptcy is the right solution for most airlines at this point in time.

I read that was the deadline to get the money at the1st possible date. I have read nothing against waiting until May to accept the money. Thoughts?

I like how you say "So many just went along with everything" like the Union (pilot group) has ANY say in how management spends money that is not regulated by our CBA. If they wanted to buy pink penguins for advertising purpose, do we have a say in that?
