as a likely furloughee.....I second this!

I didn't volunteer anything. You solicited proposals. What the ___ were you expecting? A pony?

I'm surprised you didn't throw in the old 'don't negotiate in public' garbage in your response.

That's what I wrote - lower line values without cutting pay rates or rigs. Apparently in Thor's world, that's gutting the contract...

Wanna link to the post where I asked YOU for a proposal? I was interested in hearing what a user was trying to say, but couldn't for whatever reason.

You did invite users to critique your suggestion and what I see as a giveaway, and now you're trying to walk it back? Whatever dude, keep on flailing. Don't get butthurt when you pull numbers outta your ass and someone calls you on it.

LOL!
You post on a forum. That's an invite for everyone.

I made it clear that I didn't want to cut pay. I never mentioned crap about rigs until you asked and I stated no way should we give anything away there.

You have a lot of complaints about what I wrote. What's YOUR proposal? Yes, I'm directly asking you since you seem to want to hear what someone else has to say on the matter.

CCS has the targets posted for round 2. It turned out to be a flop. There are hardly any takers. SFO 777 captain target is 103, with 1 bidder, Fo target is 243 with 0 bidders. Looks like they will be coming out with round 3, or they will have a ton of people on reserve.

Actually, it's not. But since you're running headfirst to throw concessions at the company, what can I say to stop you?

I simply pointed out that that your ideas aren't thought all the way through. In your example, the unintended consequence would harm rigs. I believe you when you say that you don't want to give rigs away, neither do I. I also have at least 3 posts in this thread about letting the NC do their job. I'm good with that.

My loyalty is to my family, not United Airlines. I, personally, would rather shelter in place for an additional month (May) and give the pandemic some extra time to simmer down. Guess that's why the options are voluntary. The fact that we are given an option to stay home and yet still receive partial pay as well as full benefits in lieu of a Leave of Absence is a blessing.
Some will take the 73 hours RSV pay in May and still shelter in place. Not flying a single leg on RSV. 😎

I'm glad you all want to help with suggestions. I suggest you send these ideas to your LEC and stop negotiating in public.

I’m in that boat and am wondering what they will do with hundreds of people losing landing currency in June.
