Loads have definitely increased in the past week or two from early April on a couple of segments I’m watching. 5 nonstops a day were cut to 1, and even that one was canceling many days. This week, the 1 nonstop is back with 30-50% load versus 10% a couple weeks ago. Also seeing more hub-to-hubs added back this week.

Caveats: small sample size, and based on United.com seat map which may have been tweaked to facilitate distancing maneuvers by agents last minute (mostly keeping middle seats empty as far as I can tell).

Hey, the glass is 10% full...

New CCS priority message about NRSA travel & PS for commuters. Starting to see an uptick in bookings & upgauging equipment. I've seen several working legs turned into DH due to equipment swap from Fifi to the big Guppy.

I interviewed yesterday for a corporate flying job. The Chief Pilot opined that many companies will be adding airplanes or purchasing more seats on share cards than ever before the virus, to keep their management out of airliners and terminals for some years to come. The bar is being lowered at his company for who gets corp travel on company jet, hence another jet is being added to their fleet.....Which means, unfortunately fewer premium pay customers for the airlines.

If Wuhan Virus is still raging in "years to come", those same corporations will be out of business. If it's not, then there really isn't a reason to keep their execs out of airline terminals. Especially when the option is between $50,000 to send a Global Express to Raleigh vs a $1200 business class ticket.

Good luck on the gig btw.

It’s a regional wholesale food company and I don’t think they are planning on the “Mad Max” world. Citations and King Airs.

But...just in case, I’ll start doing a service on my old diesel farm tractor.

Thanks
