"Stay on the hook for pennies, Heaven is just around the corner"

Nevermind that the airlines have parked thousands of airplanes permanently and have no money to buy more. They will be cash strapped for a decade, much like the 2000's.

That May be true, but demand drives business. So, if demand returns, fleets will return too to meet the demand.

We are under 30 percent of last year. It’s going to be a long slog.

If you say so Kit Darby.....

yeah! Behold the great post-pandemic pilot shortage. It’ll be epic 😕. Hey guys and gals, beware of scams from the same companies that specialized in getting you prepped for those legacy interviews. Their new thing now is polishing your LinkedIn page, if you have one. Nothing against businesses making money but when I see thousands of my fellow pilots on the street and vulnerable it just rubs me the wrong way to see these vultures lying in wait. If you are offended by my statement then you are probably one of them. Best of luck to all my XJ peeps..

Sad to hear this. Taking advantage of desperate people surely has a special place in hades.

Sadly, yes.
They enjoyed the last few years of riding the monetary tidal wave on the backs of aspiring pilots and then all of a sudden, as if overnight, their relevance dissolved into nothing. At times they were even allowed to partner up with the airlines HR....but that's another thread. I will not call any by name but you'll recognize the scam as soon as you see it. Furloughed? Call us! We can help you with your new resume -as if to suggest a much deeper understanding of the new market trends via LinkedIn. Bunch of &^%&. Tell you what... If I'm getting furloughed, which I'm intimately familiar with, they'd never be on my list of things to do.

Yep.....it’s a very “venomous” thing to do.

😏

I call BS. Offering services to people who need them is a good way to make happy customers and money. Not sure how anyone is being taken advantage of. Last i heard this was a free country.

If some "vulture" helps me interview and get a job at Amazon because my linked in and resume needed a little polishing, I think it will be money well spent.
