You've never been curious and subtracted the BOW and the FOB just to roughly guess?

Just out of curiosity, how much cargo (weight) are you guys carrying on one of your cargo trips?

It varies quite a bit. Usually on the way out, not much. But I did carry a plane full of peaches a couple of weeks ago.

On the way back, typically for the 777, it's around 60k. Sometimes less, but they are doing a pretty good job filling it up. A lot of our cargo flights come back through Guam. A few through NRT. Almost no cargo on or off at the middle stations.

It seems the 787's are doing well too. I don't know about their cargo carrying ability without people.

I’d love to know how this impacts the furlough picture. Sure I get that there’s plenty of doom and gloom to go around, but this has to mitigate some modest percentage of the international flying that’s ground to a halt.

Even if it’s not the same amount of revenue (or even close) it involves a non-trivial number of crews and seems to help us tread water until we can reopen borders with universal rapid testing for int’l pax or a vaccine.

”Yikes”? You know the 787 isn’t a freighter right? It has a main deck full of seats. Sorta limits its ability to carry. Not to mention the 763F is roughly the same length as the 787-8.

15-20% more according to Boeing........Lots more if the stage length is long enough. Nobody does economical distance flying like the “Plastic Princess”

Where are you finding the BOW? FWM and paperwork only has ZFW.
