Where are you finding the BOW? FWM and paperwork only has ZFW.

You can also see the cargo weights in Unimatic, DPWM. Yes, it still works, yes CCS is still an overlay on top of Unimatic….

To start - glad you guys are moving cargo and making money.

But flying a 777 for half the money - careful.

I'm on the 777 at FedEx and guys are making insane amounts of money. This is my best year ever and I'm not even trying.

I'm in the right seat and have had a $60K month.. There are guys who have been extended on the road to 30 days or more and are making 6 figures on a single trip.

But even at straight time we are on par with the majors.

There IS money in cargo.

Maybe it’s anecdotal, but virtually every Fedex guy I know is always telling me about how much money they make.

We have been at peak levels since March. Draft, AVA, vacation buyback - every type of extra $$$ has been available since then. If you get into the intl system and say you are willing to be extended...game on.

And I don't know if you were being sarcastic or not about the pay.

I was responding to a guy who said we (FedEx and UPS) fly for half the pay of you guys.

Anyway, I hope you guys don't furlough a whole lot and that everything recovers quickly.

The flying for half pay had to refer to the ACMI world...Southern, Atlas, National, etc.

Just out of curiosity, how much cargo (weight) are you guys carrying on one of your cargo trips?

Chatted with a fellow aviator who flew a SFO 777-300 cargo trip this week. 42k of peaches loaded on the SFO-GUM leg. Not sure how much they hauled up to TPE, but the return leg TPE to GUM had 92k (presumably electronics) onboard. The following leg was 72k from GUM to LAX. GUM is the sorting hub and he mentioned there were five 777-300s and a 787 on the ground there the other morning when they launched back to LAX.

this site has some sweet visuals showing how the heavies are seeing significantly higher utilization than the rest of the fleet:
