5,000th Cargo Flight

We recently completed our 5,000th cargo only flight. That’s amazing!!! I have been doing a lot of this flying lately and love it!!! This is a great way to offset our cash burn.

That’s really incredible and way more then I would have guessed.

Hopefully the Q3 numbers are just as strong as the Q2 for cargo revenue. It’s desperately needed right now.

Great work!!! How much has cargo ops helped reduce our daily cash burn? Anyone see those numbers?

Huell 08-20-2020 04:51 PM

What? There's no money in cargo.

cargo prices are inflated due to the fact that no one is flying. As flying returns the carve will shift back to its neutral point by being carried on passenger flights. I expect that by next summer cargo flights will be rare, the need will be there the profit will not.

I have but I don’t know if the number is privileged or not. I will just say there is a reason why our cash burn is lower than AA and DLs. I’m sure if you really want to know you can do the math on a 10K

I'm guessing you haven't been around long enough to get the joke.

you’re right I haven’t been here long enough but I know it has to do with the shut down of ANC and the United Cargo DC-10s.

Im just simply saying using the current situation as proof that cargo makes money is not the best example.

Not to rain on your parade, that’s 1000 flights a month with an average of 33-34 cargo flights a day.
From 4,900 total flights a day last year.
