Default Shame on the MEC and APC

Seems like several threads voicing opposition or criticism of the AIP have gone POOF on the other forum and now here on APC. What are they afraid of? Are forums only supposed to be cheerleaders and the voice of Todd? This is a hell of a way to run a union.

I'm not sure which ones you're speaking of, but perhaps they contained falsehoods and intentional misinformation? It's one thing to say you don't like it because you want to keep your 100 hour months, but it's something else to sow false information in hopes of influencing voters.

Now blaming Insler for APC. What a laugh. Anything else you want to blame him for? The TP shortage maybe???

to my eye, you’ve always seemed like a guy who understood the value Life outside the cockpit more than most.

what indications have you ever had that that is Insler’s MO? The overwhelming vibe I get, is he would love nothing more than to be a line pilot right now. I hardly get the Frank Underwood (power hungry) vibe.

not to mention, they must’ve known this would be controversial… If he had aspirations for a national office, I don’t think this TA would’ve helped his chances in the least. and in putting this forward, they knew that they would have to institute a pay cut for themselves. So what’s his angle?

Insler can’t take criticism, or anyone that questions his perceived authority. He’s an egomaniac off camera and needs to go, and not to mgmt but back to the line to live under this POS and actually fly an airplane for once.

Or.......that website violated APC policy by grabbing user data without permission? I highly doubt APC got political about this. They probably just scrubbed the website info because it was shady AF and tried to steal user information.

The tone here (in places) and on the other social media outlets/forums/Q&As has gotten pretty toxic and personal for my taste. We all get one vote, and my vote counts no more or no less than yours; my opinion/analysis is just that, mine, as is yours. We are the ones who are making this TA vote so divisive by taking that opinion/analysis piece and turning it into personal attacks, knowingly or unknowingly.

This is the worst crisis for our industry that many have lived with/thru; it will pass someday. The question is what will the damage be. Put your big boy/girl pants on and move forward, please.

Censorship is a slippery slope. Who gets to decide what is false information. Maybe let people make their own determination of what to believe....

So are potentially damaging accusations made without any evidence and behind an anonymous screen name…

The website had documented issues with stealing user data… Got to make some tinfoil assumptions to believe the removal was due to censorship

I asked big5 on another thread (and unsurprisingly got no answer), can anyone please give us examples of conflicting stories from their reps, or an example of TI’s malicious behavior?

I know I requested the gardener thread be pulled for links to malware. I don’t care what he has to say except that he was spreading false news likely to sway votes. Kinda like our president, can’t wait to pull that down too! Vote yes, vote no, blue, red, purple, I don’t care but make your case based on real info.
