So being listed as 100.0% base percentage on max means you are safe from displacement? If there are people after you at (101%, 102% etc,) they could be displaced?

You should call your rep or file a PDR to get a proper answer.

you can’t be displaced during a vacancy.

No. You have to wait for a displacement to see whether or not you are displaced. The min on a vacancy triggers MANDATORY backfills. Quite often the min will be set very low in order to give MP the option to later backfill depending upon training capacity. The pattern of very low mins in this Vacancy bid shows BESs that MP doesn't not want to get any bigger. It's all a guessing game at this point. Your best clue is the recent Crew Resources Update where PC sums up his gameplan for this Vacancy and the upcoming Displacements.

Good luck

Will there be a lot of NB (specifically 737) Captain displacements if anyone has any idea?

if you have access, you need to read the last few crew resource updates. With your questions, you’re either not paying attention, or you don’t work here.

my apologies for being blunt, but all your questions are answered, and then some direct from the source.

We have a cyclical displacement problem that will result in inevitable overstaffing in the system. Not an easy remedy back to equilibrium until flying returns. Where do they plan to stuff the excesses, especially when many BESs have been closed?

“We” have a problem? “We” have solved all we’re going to. It’s a company problem now.

And I intend to continue to throw as big of a monkey wrench into their plans by bidding seats I’m probably going to get bumped out of, but would be happy in if it actually stuck. My goal is a full year without touching a plane.

Damn, I'm almost crying!
