There already are required vaccinations—yellow fever being the most common, but Hep A and tetanus, are pretty much standard for international travel. How is it you’ve never taken a vaccination?
Everyone one in my pilot circle have been vaccinated or plan to when it’s available.

Hep A & tetanus are more about protecting YOURSELF from contraction. With COVID, the concern is viral spread TO OTHERS. The Vietnamese government doesn’t care if you eat bad street food & jack up your liver. They do care if you’re bringing airborne virus that will overwhelm their hospitals & extend the need for social & economic lockdowns.

I remember carrying one around the world. As did everyone I flew with. It was a yellow booklet.

Yep it was a mandatory vaccination card. I used to carry it in my flight bag. It was required to be with you internationally. That was a different airline, I don’t recall it ever being required at UAL.

Yes it was " required " was never asked for it though. Huge difference though between the Yellow Fever shot which has been around for a very very long time.. and this rushed/ still not time proven vaccine we have now.
