3.5 hour sit in CLE

Good evening,
DL guy here. I have a nice 3.5 hour sit on my penalty lap 2 days from now. 🤦‍♂️
Any places recommended to hideout, get a bite
To eat, or workout?
thanks

What hotel do they have you in for the sit duration or do you guys have an adequate pilot rest area in CLE?

you are assuming they have that provision in their contract

Do you have one of those priority pass credit cards? If so, there's a lounge in one of the concourses you could get into. Usually when I do that on a sit, I just throw on a sweater or something like that. You're welcome in on duty as long as you're not showing any epaulets or wings.

our sit has to be longer than 5 hours to get a hotel!
so we have no ops, sleep room, or hotel. 🤦‍♂️

thats sucks. United requires a day room for sits longer than 2 hours if no approved crew lounge.

Wow…that’s definitely a nice provision. A few other airlines I’m familiar with (three), all use 5 hours.

Wow. Yet another thing we are sorely lacking in our (DLs) contract. It really is sad how bad our contract can be (compared to yours) in work rules.
