Maybe it’s time to replace the aging 767 fleet. Supposedly the A330 Neo has half the fuel burn of the 767.

But it doesn't fit in the same gate space. Same issue with using 787-8. in places like EWR the longer wing is a problem.

What’s the replacement for the 767-300? They are older then the 777’s. If you listen to the Kirby interview (other thread I started) he states we start replacing the older 777’s in 26 or 27.

Just wondering if the FAA is going to be taking an especially hard look at these aircraft scenarios, since they happened within a very short time span.

It only had 116 pax onboard, perhaps they could use a 757 instead.....
