Long Layover on Reserve Trip. Phone Avail?
#21
Have 48 hour layover on a RESERVE trip. Want to go home. Any requirement to be phone available? I only see requirement that you are phone available for 15 mins after landing at the completion of a trip. I'm assuming once on layover after a 15 min period, I can turn my phone off until report time.
Layover is at a hub, and I know there is possibility of a reassignment for a visiting reserve, but that's only if they have no other reserves available and I still thought they still have to notify you by 15 mins post block-in.

Be careful. Your interpretation is not correct. However, for the purposes of this thread discussion, it doesn’t really affect you if you are already established on your layover.
