As a SWA pilot, I’m very disappointed in UA. A rising tide lifts all boats in a pattern bargaining environment. And unfortunately, the opposite is also true. The entire profession will be negatively impacted by the weakness of this TA, assuming you guys ratify it.
It’s unbelievable that in the most favorable negotiating conditions for pilots in decades, this nearly concessionairy TA is the best you came up with. Wow. Total shame.

The MEC and NC should both be absolutely ashamed. How is it even possible for them to present us with this total turd?
Step 1. Update vacancy bid page.
Step 2. Vote no.
Step 3. Immediately remove A380 pay rate from our contract. We were NEVER going to get them, nobody wants them. There is a reason it is there. Ask our “leadership” why?
Step 4. Recall MEC and NC, and replace them.
I guess thanks to “our” union for spending so much time negotiating a PAY CUT and DECREASE in QOL for us?

My dues are paying for them to present this steaming pile and tell us it's industry-leading?
NOPE!

Was going to pick up a premium trip tomorrow but I'm so irritated with the insult they sent us that I've changed my mind about Core 4. I think it might be a one way street. Thinking it might take me a while to recover from my angst and worry.

The underwhelming pay raises, short duration, and the lack of retro pay points to a clear intent to hit 2024 and sandbag new pay rates for 3-4 more years after that.
Not surprising that this comes from a NC that had zero engagement of the pilot group over the past 5 years. Hell, I even get an employee poll from the company every so often.
