By that logic then UAL should buy the MAX7 and A318. Too bad it's not happening anytime soon.
(BTW...the MAX7 is greater PAX than the A319, actually close to the A320 cabin length...the MAX7 is by no means a re-engined 737-700...) |

What happens if Boeing can't deliver the MAX10 airframes (250!) and wants to preserve orders, even at great cost? Many likely get converted to MAX9, some probably get cancelled (with A321neo orders placed). But might some get converted to MAX7 if the UAL regional feed starts to dry up?

Delta must be making money with them -- they're purchasing twelve more A220s.

Don't forget to add-
There's no money in Cargo, and 4 Engine Jets are not economical.. (Look at the latest BOOM announcement) CMTSU Fly Safe, Fly Professionally and Fly the Contract Motch |
Delta is able to charge a higher price for their product than United. Maybe it doesn’t work at United.

A220 would be a great regional replacement, it is extremely fuel efficient.

why do you guys talk as if you know how to run an airline?? Delta is an animal domestically. Look at they're quarterly revenues domestically. They win customer service awards every year. We have a long way to go at UAL.

You realize an A220 has the same capacity as a MAX7 right?...it's not really a regional jet.

Idk man, from my standpoint it doesn’t look like anyone knows how to run an airline right now. Maybe they should spend more time receiving feedback from the LINE pilots and less time trying to lower the bottom line.
