The pre-filled addresses of school/employer fields seem to be derived directly from every applicants' input. You will also see multiple copies of the same school/employer if the address details do not match exactly. Also, if I try to list my employment as a "Contract Pilot" the prefilled address is someone's private home address! Be careful of what addresses you fill in - every applicant using the website can see it!

What did you put for the phone number there? I put contract pilot but for employer I put who I contracted for. Did you put your own address or your employers?

Also the references section is confusing me too. Like the above poster, I don’t know if it’s a reference for every job. I have a couple of employers who aren’t in business anymore, so I wonder how they’re going to verify that employment. I assume maybe that’s a reference I’d want to put down so they can call someone to verify.

So you have SFO EWR DEN, MCO and LAX experience covered…which is nice…anything else unique? Just kidding…in this hiring environment if you have the licenses, mins and a good story your chances are as good as any!

I'm not a fan of the new application website. It looks like it was designed to be done on a phone.
Please tell me that no one is filling out an entire airline application on a tiny screen.

I am having trouble getting addresses to save. Also my answers to DWI/DUI won’t save. Tried different web browsers. Emailed pilot recruiting. Waiting on a reply

Also need guidance on how to add up PIC & IP time. Airline Apps was different from UA & SWA

I’m an American who did my initial flight training and started my career abroad. Now looking to move back and land a gig at a major.

What are my chances of getting in with about 1,800TT with 1,500 of it being on a 320 in airline operations? I’ve got about 100PIC and about 600PIC(US)

The algorithm used to pull your electronic app probably doesn’t care about the challenging conditions you fly in, but they could be valuable for the interview when the time comes. Put in your app and see is all I can say. There hasn’t been hiring like this is recent history.

Consider trying a regional and getting more TPIC or perhaps trying an LCC to get back to Stateside part 121 ops probably wouldn’t hurt. Good luck

Does anyone know how they want flight instructor time broken up? I know on airline apps we separated PIC and Instructor time. It also doesn’t seem to be displaying a totals page like airline apps. Overall not impressed.

For those who have submitted, can the application be edited afterwards?
For example, I am short of the required flight time and just need to update that, does it allow for that?
or do we just have to keep it saved and keep editing until requirements are met?

For those working on moving the application over, are you putting in every single training event under education like Delta wants it in AirlineApps? Does United want this also? This is definitely an exercise to see who really wanted to be at United vs. AirlineApps one master to update multiple applications!

plenty of new hires with little to no PIC. All seem to be doing just fine. Some of the sharpest guys and gals I’ve flown with haven t been captains before but all have additional quals like instructor, safety reps etc

You can update it, yes. You get an email after every save or submission so open the email and use the link that is included. There is also a code that you use to access it again.
