TI is a classic example of the Peter Principle. He was a competent Grievance Chair who got some good wins but that was his ceiling. Once he was given a position above that he failed miserably. When UAL was making Billions pre covid he was too busy signing MOUs and LOAs to be bothered with a contract. He ultimately divided the pilot group so bad it took the Tumi Turd to get this group back together out of anger and disgust. He owns that turd as well. The MEC and NC said in the roadshows that 90% of the TA was done pre covid.

Our own MEC vote to endorse him was only 13-6. 68% of our reps think he’d be good for ALPA. You would expect close to if not 100% of his own people would want him there if he was all that.

Funny you mention it as I literally laughed out loud that he listed negotiating 33 LOAs and 24 MOUs as part of his accomplishments. What would have been a truly great accomplishment is an industry leading CONTRACT!
