Are you implying this isn’t credible? Do you understand the liability of misquoting the CEO of a public company on a public forum? No other details required…

I honestly don’t know if this is serious or not. In the case that it is sincere; “yes”, I am implying the quote is not credible absent a source. Produce a source and we actually have something to discuss, otherwise all APCers should make similar inferences.

UA Contract 2000 was permanent too. Whatever you do with that knowledge... that's up to you.

Then this event happened on 9/11…… followed by bankruptcy at numerous airlines where contracts were gutted…….

Exactly my point. Regionals are totally capable of going bankrupt if they can't retain pilots. $200/hr for an RJ captain is a great start, but isn't going to fix their retention problem.

It's all just triage until the narrowbody deliveries start. Then the regional network will be shrunk to about 1/3 its current size. The days of labor whipsaw or arbitrage if you prefer a more sophisticated term are over for now. Will they return someday? History suggests so.
