I'm glad you mentioned the Z pilots "more trusting of management". They are going to be in for a $&%* hayride and their attitude will quickly change. I'm voting "No" until the day I leave because there are too many Tesla driving instagram heroes in our ranks now. Don't worry...I'm happy now regardless... if we do or don't get a contract in my last ten years... popcorn? I'm going to enjoy the show...

Thanks to 2nd yr pay, today, I have attained a long term QOL goal of mine: buying the expensive sliced deli meat at the grocery store. I didn't even check the price first. Turns out it was $13.99/lb and I almost gave it back 😱.

We need a new contract

But my union reps explained to me this was one of those times that I don’t want my wages to keep up with inflation.

QOL for them means only one thing- Senior FO on a livable wage. Commonly commuters. Won't touch the left seat until they are well-established LH captains. Won't upgrade after TA2 because the reserve rule improvements have to be higher than we'll likely get at 51%+.

False.

Once you hit 750hrs at the AA Wholly Owned you get Captain pay. To keep pay parity with what Isom pays his 50 seat RJ pilots, Kirby needs to pay $150/hr first year and give a 40% pay raise across the board to United pilots.
