yeaa… you know, it’s possible to want a worthy contract AND a domicile in MCO. 😪

didn’t say that you can’t do both. You’ll find out what they said when they publish the synopsis. Lapping up their drivel like giddy kids at Christmas sends the wrong message.

“Good for our long term outlook”? The ludicrous notion of the less the company pays it’s employees the better off the corporate entity is is mind numbingly short sighted.

I think you misunderstood. I was referring to all entities from airline manufactures to catering operations to outsourced ramp agencies. I want a larger piece of the pie for the pilot group and I voted to recall my local LEC. It was our MEC that was derelict in their duties, not United management.

slow rolling us for 4 years is indeed derelict. Don’t be naive, they could have buttoned this up in 2019. They chose to drag their feet. Yes, our MEC needed housecleaning, but make no mistake— management is using all the tactics from “Confessions of a union buster” perfectly. If you haven’t read it, you should

Exactly, I love how they used a global pandemic with complete shutdowns of many of our long-haul markets and a 70% decrease in stock price as some kind of lame excuse. They took billions in federal aid to “keep the lights on” but totally should have passed it to the pilots in the form of perfectly timed raises for ALPA.

sarcasm aside, you glossed over the part where we could have had this buttoned up in2019. When was the pandemic again?
