Are we 100% sure that if awarded a new base that you can break your equipment lock?

Not sure if the announcement will come out today before the town hall or if they will announce everything at the town hall and the vacancy will open tomorrow???

Nowhere in CCS is “BES” mentioned. Its called a Category and has been for about a decade.

100% sure that you can bid “new” BES despite training or bidding freezes for six months.

Can we stop with this “BES” / Category argument. We understand what both are.

It’s official now, 737 MCO/TPA and 737 LAS

I just saw from a buddy. Great news for those folks. Though it did say a possible co-terminal (BQ's words) in TPA, that's not official at this time. Still though, I'm sure many here never thought we'd see the day and it's finally arrived, so that's a good thing.

Tampa is still "potential" but definitely on the radar.

Approx 300 pilots to MCO and 200 in LAS, so assuming they'll stay senior for a while.

By that logic, though, there would be a lot of downstream vacancies as the seat-lockers leave for their preferred bases in subsequent bids.

Still not gonna go to new hires.

150 initial fo slots. Even if 50 cycle out every bid for 6 months that’s 350 fo’s. If be surprised if that sops up company-wide demand for seatlock break and florida

I wonder if the Tampa (co-terminal) is up in the air because of it being a prohibitive distance from MCO..?
