Default TK Picket Misses

A Google search of “United Pilots Picket” nets 1 article by Goshen News that is buried underneath multiple articles about a generous 5% raise. This first effort was a huge swing and miss by ALPA. The incompetence is nauseating. No wonder there is a full scale revolt in progress.

Careful how you measure success, I googled "United Ailrines Pilots picketing" and got two full pages with all major networks as the top result, with video, with photos, etc.....

But, keep storming the castle, you know, building unity and all. Let me know how that works out.

DL guy here….I had no idea you guys picketed.

I believe that all the picketing is now being lost in the shuffle since there are so many at almost every airline these days. DL, UAL, AA, SWA, FDX, AK, etc all picketing in the last year.

Easy to overlook a picket these days.

CBS picked it up last night. CBS and Goshen news are the only media outlets running anything on it.

We needed to tie it into injustice against some racial identity coupled with the support for LBGQTxyz community in elementary schools. It would've been made into a Netflix series and broadcast worldwide.

As long as the homeless people on Quebec Street know that we want more money, I think we are off to a good start.

I was wondering why we are picketing at the FTC and not at the airport. Was the hope that there would be a better turnout because of the transient pilots?

Unless you use Duck Duck Go or another search engine specifically designed for it, Google is always showing you curated results based on how have interacted with it in the past.

No restrictions on the number of picketers at the FTC. A lot of airports are imposing limits on the number of picketers at one time.

Also, this was a relatively quick time from announcement to picket. Not much time for guys to consider or even know about the event. We need more time, and hit it much harder in selling the picket.

Some people are incensed that we haven't picketed yet, while at the same time, those are the guys that don't show up....we have to make it easy to get there. Know about it, and advertise the heck out of it--which has been a stumbling block. I hope the next events are pushed a lot harder. Again, the politics are getting in the way of doing the work which is not helping.
