Curious to see what the most senior for CA MCO was?

#164. Some people bid off the WB's to be based in MCO.

As of today, seniority #9000 or so. Roughly 2014-2015 hire.

That’s a pretty good delay.

Just bid SENIOR widebody FO... Many have decided it's worth the commute...

I hear the pay isn't much different, but the QOL difference is remarkable!

Forgive me if this is buried in the thread… how long for a new hire to hold reserve or a line in mco/tpa?

Senior 777/787 FO easily makes more than 737/320 CA.
I'm assuming junior 737/320 CA = reserve

I’m a fairly senior 737 captain and senior WB FO’s can make more money, even with PP being scarce. A friend on the 787 who is quite a bit senior to me beats me every month, but he really games the system. Since PP is practically gone, he buddy bids with LCA’s and then double dips when they buy his trips. It’s not a guaranteed win, but he consistently earns more than I do while working on average 2-3 fewer days. He’s not going to upgrade until he can hold the trips that he wants on the 787 because it would cost him money and days off, which is why we do this job.
