Has the bid sheet with all the numbers even come out anywhere?

Not much to watch. Once again a lot talk about how quality of life is going to suck! Opening LAS/MCO solves nothing. The G line will move like an old Atari game. Why would you bid Captain unless you are 100% below 40% in base. They have destroyed all quality of life. 90 hour lines with min days off is what they want the future to be.

It will be interesting to see how this works out. I think they are completely misreading the whole situation. I anticipate a lot of unfilled vacancies still and now in the Midwest bases they want to help relieve the coastal issues, and maybe even the new bases.

This is about QOL, not base location. Moving the g line to 40-50% in December was a horrible decision at the worst time. You just burned more trust with the line pilots who will now wait even longer to bid CA. Many who were thinking to bid it at 80% will now wait till it’s closer to 50%, because we don’t trust you and you impulse moves.

I think until major changes are made to reserve section of contract, they won’t solve this problem and will inhibit their growth plans.

If only we had some sort of negotiating opportunity on the horizon where we could deal with that

This. Most of the pilots are all giddy about new bases and new planes. Yet QOL and PAY suck with no end in sight. Who cares about bids and planes? I would rather have a stellar industry leading contract.

I would guess the trips in LAS and MCO are going to be min guarantee 3-4 day trips. We better get something above M5D to remedy totally unproductive pairings.

Didn’t Alaska just get 5:20 min per day? That would make a 3 day worth at least 16, a 4 day worth at least 21:20

More importantly, we need a true min day. Not this daily average BS.

Which will be more than offset by losing the commute.

Yes. We still need a needed min/day but there are better reasons to ***** about that...
