50% is the new year round g-line

G lines will stabilize back to 80% like it has for decades.

…Now let’s see if it was all talk. Leave the comfort of WB life even with a commute….

Some observations from this bid: Many did leave the WB to be able to live in base. But nothing that was very noteworthy. I expected more to leave WB FO to upgrade.
What I did find very noteworthy is the incredible jump in seniority LAS FOs just scored. Many were mid to upper middle seniority in their previous BES, now they’re in the top 1-10%. Hello to the schedule you want, to having trips bought and hello to the vacation you want. Only one pre-merger pilot, the rest post merger. Score!😎

my take… most pilots won’t jump at a new base until they see how the cards fall… once the base starts flying trips (see pairings) and the base seniority is set the bidding dynamic will change for the next round.

Next round? I believe the positions are filled until someone bids out.

Many many pilots bid LAS 737 to get out of their widebody seat lock. Once trained I expect many of them to lateral to other bases.

depending on the trip quality many may bid out again.

I suspect many / most bid into LAS and MCO for option value. You can always go back to SFO/LAX/EWR if you want.

Can anyone post the bid sheet for this bid for outsiders? Just curious to see. If it’s still available.

There are several documents with data on positions offered and taken, none of which are supposed to be shared
