Default Joining United from overseas

Hi everyone,

I’m currently a NB Captain with a decent schedule at a foreign airline (over 10yrs) and will have the opportunity to upgrade to a WB Captain position in the new few years.
I’m only in my mid 30’s and was wondering what kind of progression I can expect if I joined United next year.
How long is it to get off NB WB C/F reserve and when can one realistically expect to hold WB Skip?
How is life on reserve these days?
How is the work environment/morale?

Appreciate all the answers!

Cheers

Lotta questions

But WB captain is 10+ years and that’s 1) probably optimistic and 2) to hold weekend reserve

I wouldn't count the 767-300since it doesn't pay WB rates. Thus it's around 23 years Lual and 17 + lcal
