If you’re too stupid to know the difference between a fake window in a sim, FTD’s don’t even have a representation of the actual window, and an instructor telling you to not mess a fragile window in a sim because it’s not real and it’ll break and an actual airplane window I don’t know what to tell you.

If you’re that much of an OCD mental minnow you’ve got bigger problems. Kind of like the student that was all fired up because her iPad was showing her actual position in downtown Denver and not at the airport once upon a time. Have the tiniest bit of common sense people.

it’s on the your preflight flow and the preflight check list to check the actual window in the airplane. So is doing a walk around, do you actually do a walk around in the sim? And if so are you shocked and amazed that it’s just a box on stilts with no wings or a tail?

There are things in the sim that are different than the actual airplane. Make a note of it!
