I was in the 320 jumpseat once with another jumpseater, the other jumpseater told the CA his window wasn't closed/locked as we approached the end of the runway, good catch, thanks all around.

I had a Guppy window open on landing roll out at 80kts once. Dookie happens, things break/fail. Not sure why this is even a story.

Always give it a good tug when you get to that part of the checklist. Check the window as well. 😜

Absolutely. Sadly, there are some instructors who promote the “don’t touch it!” philosophy. They have to be course corrected when this stuff rears it’s head.

If we have ANY Instructors telling pilots (ie, students) "Don't touch it".. they need to be removed from that position.
Seriously.. "don't touch it"?

They said that in reference to the sims/FTDs, I'm hoping nobody's taking that to the line.
