You’re mil so I assume you’ve made it around and value your time home more than anything else, well reserve goes senior at DAL. At United it’s a punishment.

Don’t let an MCO base tempt you. It’s a 737 base only, probably won’t be much more if it even survives the next down turn. It’s new, it’s small, it’s a trial run.

Appreciate the response. Definitely a good point about MCO being new and a trial. It could go away…and with such a long time for my career who knows what could happen.

Would seniority progression be worth considering or is it negligible given how much time I have left?

Definitely negligible, not because you won’t be better off going to one vs another, but you won’t be able to predict how those drivers will play out over the course of a career.

If MCO and LAS are trial runs, then what are CLE and GUA???

At some point in his career maybe UA will have the fat contract first while DL waits. There are some great reasons to pick DL over UA and the other way around as well, but going to DL solely because they got their contract first in this cycle is myopic and dumb AF.

remnants from the ole days. Also it’s GUM not GUA, GUA is in Guatemala.

MCO and LAS won’t close unless the airline finds themselves in a situation where they are going to be overstaffed for a while.

Go to the airline that has a domicile where you currently live or willing to relocate… commuting sucks.

Stop looking for validation and pick one. You won’t know the real answer until the day after you retire anyway. You’re looking for a 100% positive answer, there isn’t one. Just like in life and aviation sometimes you have to make a choice on the best info at the time.

So you should probably go to Spirit….
