So saying the MBCBP won’t be ready by retro has something to do with your blithering?

The original question was whether everything spilled into the VEBA. The answer appears to be NO.

That is all.

It’s not that easy of an answer. For all but those earning over $392k, all would be spilled into the VEBA, unless they are forcing it.

True. The TA will give us the details and options.

Any rumors on TA timeline? Been about a month, seems like it should be squared away soon.

They want to start doing roadshows mid September which means the language should be finalized a week or two before then to give the FACT team time to train. Hopefully done by the end of the month but there hasn’t been a ton of news aside from “we’re working on it”. I trust this group will get it done by then.

There was literally a message from the MEC on august second with a timeline they’re working on. What more do you want than that?…

From the Aug 2 MEC message:

Your Negotiating Committee is working with the goal of completing Tentative Agreement (TA) language by the last week of August. Upon completion, the agreement will be sent to MEC members to begin their required 7-day review process. Soon after MEC receipt we plan to send you the TA, along with links to supporting educational materials, to allow for discussion and input.

A special MEC meeting to consider the Tentative Agreement will likely be scheduled for September 6-7. If the TA is accepted, balloting will open on September 8th. Voting will likely close on the morning of September 29th to comply with MEC Policy’s 20-day requirement. If the TA is ratified, the Date of Signing is planned to occur on or about the beginning of the October bid month.
