98% of my “normal” work days involve a plane swap as far as geographically possible from the inbound gate. I’d rather walk and grab a coffee than be rushed and make the same amount. EWR being the outlier

This is hilarious. If this is your biggest struggle…that’s a win man. Efficient? Probably not. Safe? Absolutely. You also get paid by the minute. Might be time to hang up the uniform ‘69.

Just don’t be one of those slow early guys that doesn’t fly the assigned speed to the marker at ORD and gets rewarded with the on-air a$$ chewing. Besides, I’ll be right behind you with a 162 knot 737-900 target speed.

As a retired mil guy, I appreciated the babysitting I got. And, for those non-mil guys who feel offended for having to help us get 121 experience, I would have been proud to fight alongside you had you chosen to serve.
