Great to hear from the Cessna 150 master pilot at KBFE airport. Thanks for checking in with your opinion.

For a professional, competent captain that’s not a safety issue, it’s an opportunity to be a mentor.

Check Airmen are the mentors not line captains. They expect to have a competent F/O sitting next to them.

mentoring is literally in the job description of a Captain in the FOM.

Once again, as long as it’s SOP/FM/ATC compliant, just because someone doesn’t fly the airplane like you like to fly it doesn’t mean they’re incompetent.

You should probably brush up on those as well since mentoring is a company and FAA required component of being a captain.

You are INCORRECT! Insert another quarter and try again. And please report yourself to professional standards ASAP.

He probably was on the typical path of flying rubber dog crap around between Little Rock and Texarkana before he got his “big break” working on his knees for Bethune. No telling how many times before that he was turned down at respectable airlines and/or the military….
