Don’t worry, about a half dozen or so no votes are not UAL employees. So you’re covered.

I’ve kept a running tally of the people I’ve talked to in ops or on trips since the ta came out.. 19 yes voters to only 1 no voter

Funny, I haven't run into a YES voter yet. We must run in different circles.

78% yes voters my guess |
This is gonna pass like grandma’s molasses cookies (made with real dark rum!). We don’t even need the newbs. 7000 non instructor/LCP pre- merger old school guys that have seen the life and know this deal is a beaut…. Add in 1200 instructors/LCPs that get a SHINY new pony. That’s prolly 6300 of the 7000 votes we need to pass this deal (50% + 1 since 2000 probees can’t vote). Haha. So we just need about 12% of the newbs and we have a winner. And we’ll get 55%. Minimum. It passes 68% overall. Enjoy your new contract. You’re welcome.
Guppie. proud yes voter |
When does your vote close and when do you find out the results?

I assume there will be a few hours lag for dotted i’s and crossed T’s. Last ALPA contract vote I was part of (not at UAL) results were released about an hour after close of voting.

keep in mind they have to be certified as well That’s why council elections typically all close on the same morning. They have the people there so they can do certify the elections at the same time. |
