PBS/Bidding Strategy EWR787
Brainstorming here. It’s a pretty safe bet we’re not going to TLV next month or anytime soon.
Would bidding TLV be an intelligent strategy to get an entire month dropped with pay for November or allow opportunities to get paid double over those days?

Could be…. You’ll likely get AV days. Whether you’re reassigned into open flying is the gamble.

they wouldn’t be working, would be working the same. And since we are all volunteers to be here, we’re in agreement the compensation is fair enough to do the work. So if the same work actually nets you more money, seems like the logic tree says you do it. 🤷♂️

The weak aspect of your logic is that 'we' also claim to value time off and 'QoWL'. So, when given time off with pay shouldn't it follow that we choose the time off over additional pay?
