Worst (er) (est) MEC Chair

When the EFFFFFF did the union say to vote it down!?!?? Quite the contrary… they kept voting open for weeks longer than originally planned, because TI couldn’t have a TA go down in flames right before the ALPA National elections. How could he get elected president with such a dog feces contract blowing up in his face right before the big show?
Dont try and rewrite history…. They knew right out of the gate this thing was going down. Pilots were furious, the DAL TA only threw gas on the fire (which came after our 94% no vote and helped them and the NMB raise the bar after Bastion stepped on his crank and infuriated the NMB). If you can point me to an official UALPA Comm encouraging us to vote it down, I’d love for you to post that, because it runs completely counter to the social media blitz our MEC was running trying to drag that POS over the finish line.

True, TUMI was a turning point for our pilots, but it’s still important to remember that it wasn’t just the product of ineffective leadership, but of years of a disengaged labor group that didn’t hold them to account- we would never have had the former without the latter. Some only want to blame TI but if we don’t also blame ourselves for letting the TI years happen, we’re not learning the lessons we need to learn to make sure it never happens again.

payne had a thing for gold. Gold eyeglass frames, gold rings, gold bracelet, gold watch, gold tie clip.
After class drove my grandmothers 1982 Chrysler New Yorker to Red Bird airport. No a/c

What police report are you talking about? The one filed after somebody put his hands on her? They teach you in kindergarten to keep your hands to yourself. It was a crime and should be treated as such. You don't want a criminal record, don't break the law.
And if you want a Tumi that badly, the extra money you're making because of her Vote No stance will buy you 20 of them.

HAHA> Late 80s for me, so I didn't know Parra. I remember Payne though. He was a computer nerd... as much as you could be in the 1980s. I did the Red Bird thing as well. $32 wet for a C-152. I think my PPL set me back about $1500
