Just be yourself........ if you aren't confident in who you are it will show through.

I thought most people outgrew that after graduating high school.

If someone gives you **** for not drinking you should thank them. They saved you a lot of time figuring out they’re an *******.

Unfortunately this isn’t the case for everyone. Seen this happen many times. Some people just never seem to grow out of that.

I quit drinking a long time ago, only response I’ve ever gotten from others is “I really need to do that.”

For the OP we have a lot of pilots here that don’t. Tell anyone that gives you grief over it to GFY, not like they’re gonna run to HR.

I’ve gotten that response a lot from people too. Still there are some who take offense when i tell them I drink “very little” or “not much” or, if I’m around someone who seems to be a borderline alcoholic, I’ll say “not at all” as I do not want to be around them when they’ve downed a few. I drink a little here and there, but not as much as I used to, mainly because I’m trying to avoid gaining weight. But still these reasons bother certain people. I guess they feel insecure about their drinking? I used to care what others thought, but now I could honestly give 2 shxxs less what their opinions are.

going on 3 pages about something so simple…drink or don’t drink it’s an easy choice. IS OP 23 years old? This screams of that.

If I am on an antibiotic that says I should not have alcohol, I simply ask for a Diet Coke on the rocks. Smile when someone asks. Change the subject.
