Well, besides than the 800 pilots United has hired in the first 5 months of the year. Other than that, no growth or movement, right.

Odds of a PHX base? So far it’s a FA base they own the E gates in terminal’s 3 just curious to see if this may soon be a future base. Anyone have speculation?

word is it was one of the several airports evaluated during the round that eventually ended up being LAS and MCO.

I flew with an LCP who lived in Phoenix and he said we just don’t have the gates needed to open a base. As much as he’d obviously love a base where he lives, even he said it wasn’t justified.

Unlikely. Out station bases were done in part to help alleviate unfilled captain vacancies and since they can now force upgrades, I doubt we’ll see more.
