Default LTD

I'm trying to learn about our LTD coverage and have a few questions.

The UPA references an Administrative Committee as well as appealing an adverse decision by the Administrative Committee. Also, the UPA does not detail what exactly is covered by the LTD. Is every pilot that loses a medical covered by the LTD Plan automatically, or are certain scenarios denied coverage? A copy of the LTD plan would probably answer this, but there doesn't appear to be a copy available anywhere on ft or other internal sources.

I'm in an unfortunate situation and might be faced with dealing with this soon. Anyway, thanks for any help.

If only we had a resource other than a public Internet forum to get information on benefits our union has negotiated for us….

I think that link is for the previous plan. A good resource that everyone should download is the benefits book from the r and I committee on the Alpa website. It has Ltd info but basically all benefits for current and retired pilots.

Gee, isn't it fun to sarcasticly sh!t all over people who ask for help? A person who said they are facing the prospect of losing their medical? Nice one.

Your skin seems a little thin for the internet.
